Chess Academy offers quality chess programs in a variety of settings. Our popular after school chess program meets once a week and is typically one hour in length with one half hour of instruction and one half hour of practical application – playing time. Lessons are scheduled on the same day each week, and are immediately after school.

Chess Academy instructors create a dynamic classroom environment to engage students in learning the game of chess. All instructors must pass a background check and our rigorous screening process. Classes are designed for children in grades K-6, and are great for beginning to developed chess players.The safety and well-being of students is our highest priority. We offer an accepting and inclusive classroom environment, with all students encouraged and expected to display kindness toward others and good sportsmanship at all times.
